Anna University has launched an internship programme in Robotics and Automation for final year UG students.

The programme is offered by the Centre for Robotics and Automation (CRA), in collaboration with the Department of Production Technology MIT Campus.

Anna University has introduced a new internship programme in the field of Robotics and Automation for final year UG students. The internship opportunities are being offered by the Centre for Robotics and Automation (CRA) in collaboration with the Department of Production Technology at the MIT Campus of Anna University.

The internship programme is open to students pursuing UG degree programmes in engineering and technology from all affiliated colleges of Anna University for the current academic year. Eligible students must have completed at least two semesters of their course in order to apply for the programme.

The internship is scheduled to take place in February 2024 and will last for two weeks. During the internship, students will have the opportunity to learn about various topics in Robotics and Automation, including Robotics, Robot Sensors and Electrical Actuators, Fluid Power Automation, Design and 3D Printing, Case Studies, Mini Project Lab Visits, and Project Ideation.

At the end of the internship, an assessment test will be conducted, and students will be awarded an internship certificate upon successful completion. The internship will be held at the Department of Production Technology, located at the Madras Institute of Technology campus, Anna University in Chromepet.
