In this article, the impact of artificial intelligence (AI) on astrology is explored. The author discusses the rise of astrology apps and websites that rely on AI to generate horoscopes and predictions. While technological advancements have made astrology more accessible, the author argues that AI-generated information is more data-centric than predictive. AI lacks the ability to make intuitive judgments and consider societal themes when interpreting birth charts and writing horoscopes. The author conducted an experiment with AI programs and found inaccuracies and inconsistencies in the predictions. However, the Co-Star app, which uses an algorithm and NASA data, offers a more complete review of someone’s birth chart and provides personalized transits. Nevertheless, the author cautions against relying on AI for major life guidance, as it lacks the human touch and experience that astrologers possess.
